Vector Ridge brings quantitative trading models, stock selection, price ranges and investment research into a connected platform. Today's report shows how those tools can work together: energy leads the open model book, several refining stocks have advanced since joining Quant Picks, and Price Radar puts strong daily moves into the context of published ranges.

Trading Terminal: energy leads a mixed model book

The Rapid Trade view in the Vector Ridge Trading Terminal showed eight open positions: five long and three short. Valero had the strongest positive mark at +4.49% since entry. Netflix and Applied Materials had the largest negative marks. Four positions were positive and four negative.

Entry prices explain an important difference in Occidental. The current long entered at $58.54 and was ahead 1.28%. A separate long entered at $61.91 yesterday and closed today at -4.27%. Tracking both positions gives a fuller account of the model activity.

Selected completed trades included an NXP short at +3.96%, a Huntington Ingalls short at +1.73%, and a J.B. Hunt long at -2.69%. Vector Ridge's Verified Performance page provides the documented model-history framework; these observations are model outcomes rather than broker fills.

Vector Ridge Quant Picks, within Investor Desk, lets readers examine selected stocks alongside their addition dates and subsequent price performance.

Valero showed +58.4% since its June 30 addition. Among stocks added August 31, Marathon Petroleum was up 13.0%, Phillips 66 11.2%, and HF Sinclair 14.8%. The pattern extends across several refining companies, alongside positive marks in the two open energy longs.

Two other selections made substantial daily moves: Illumina rose a displayed 7.1%, with +14.8% since its August 31 addition; Hewlett Packard Enterprise rose 7.7%, with +42.3% since May 29. The list also contains weaker selections: Glaukos was down 10.1% since August 31. These are stock-selection tracking figures with different starting dates. Explore Quant Picks

Price Radar and Price Ranges: examining the entry after a rally

Price Radar adds useful context to those moves. Illumina's displayed $245.18 price sat near its $246.19 upper range. HPE at $61.06 remained below $61.75.

That connects two research questions: which selected stocks are moving, and where their prices stand relative to the published boundaries. Vector Ridge also provides Price Ranges within the Trading Terminal. A range is a reference for research and planning; an upper-boundary reading alone does not establish a reversal. Open Price Radar

Insider Watch: reading the transaction behind the headline

Insider Watch brings ownership disclosures into Investor Desk. For this report, we checked the underlying filings for two transactions.

TeraWulf director Michael Bucella purchased 6,085 shares for approximately $90,000 on September 15, disclosed September 16. The filing identifies a purchase rather than a stock award. TeraWulf SEC filing

NetApp CEO George Kurian sold 40,000 shares for approximately $7.7 million on September 14, disclosed September 16. The SEC filing establishes that the sales followed a 10b5-1 plan adopted June 15. Our interpretation is that this carries less weight as evidence of a newly formed bearish view than a discretionary sale decided now. NetApp SEC filing

Macro and Portfolio Pro: adding the broader investment context

Vector Ridge Macro assigned its largest probability to reflation at 41.6% in the September 17 snapshot. Portfolio Pro showed a 15.0% energy target in its August 31 Core Growth model weights. These add economic and allocation context, with separate measurement dates; the allocation is not a new trade or an explanation of today's open positions. Macro | Portfolio Pro
